Nintendo may host a big direct on the 20th of this month

According to industry insider Kelios, Nintendo will hold a complete large direct on Monday, 20th of this month. Kelios has accurately leaked the time of Nintendo direct several times before, including the direct mini held in March this year.
Since 2013, Nintendo has notified players of their latest games and product plans in the form of direct. However, due to the impact of the epidemic, the company's employees switched to remote work at home, resulting in Nintendo not holding a direct in June this year. Nintendo hasn't held a full direct since September 2019. Instead, it has focused on individual games, such as "Animal Crossing: New Horizons", "Super Smash Bros Ultimate", and so on.
Last month, Nintendo's president confirmed that he would continue to use the direct mode. He told investors that this live broadcast is still an effective means of communication. However, Nintendo's president also mentioned that if better methods are available in the future, Nintendo will adjust its communication methods.
