The Switch host itself has a Bluetooth adapter, but this module is used to connect to a Bluetooth gamepad. Previously, due to various reasons such as hardware bandwidth and anti-interference, there was no open Bluetooth audio connection.

Official introduction:

When using Bluetooth audio, up to two wireless controllers can be connected to Nintendo Switch. Before disconnecting the Bluetooth audio device, the user cannot pair other wireless controllers;

Bluetooth audio will be disconnected during local communication, such as when starting a local wireless multiplayer game;

Only one Bluetooth audio device can be paired at a time, but Nintendo Switch can save up to 10 devices;

Cannot use Bluetooth microphone;

Depending on the Bluetooth device, users may experience audio delays.
